Gulf Coast Equality is a nonprofit organization comprised of LGBTQ+ individuals and allies dedicated

to uniting the Mississippi Gulf Coast community

by providing resources, advocacy, and support

through outreach that promote equality, foster

inclusion, and celebrate the diversity of our region.

The vision of this organization is to create a just, inclusive, and affirming community in which LGBTQ+ individuals are fully valued, respected, and

empowered to thrive. We envision a society free

from discrimination, where diversity is celebrated, equity is advanced, and all people regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression have equal access to opportunity, safety, and well-being.​​

Gulf Coast Equality Festival

Gulf Coast Equality organizes an annual LGBTQ+ equality event each October, aimed at inspiring, educating, honoring, and celebrating both

our community and our allies. This event

is known as the "Gulf Coast Equality Fest."
