Volunteer Opportunities with Gulf Coast Equality
Gulf Coast Equality relies on dedicated volunteers to help make our annual events successful. We invite you to get involved in one or more of the following opportunities:
Gulf Coast Equality Fest - October
Volunteers play a vital role in ensuring a successful festival. Opportunities include vendor coordination, event setup and breakdown, and providing general support throughout the day. Our greatest need is during the morning shift, particularly for vendor setup and coordination. There are two volunteer shifts: one in the morning and another in the afternoon.
Out of the Darkness Suicide Prevention Walk - September
Join the Gulf Coast Equality team as we participate in this important community event. Volunteers can assist with fundraising efforts, support our booth, and walk alongside team members to help raise awareness for suicide prevention.
Mississippi Gulf Coast Marathon - December
Support marathon participants by helping distribute water and encouragement along the race course. This is a great opportunity to represent Gulf Coast Equality while giving back to the community.
